As a CE RTTE/RED external technical reviewer (2009 to 2016, Notified Body Germany) in EMC, Radio, Electrical Safety and Health one has to know standards inside out to quickly come to a regulatory compliance verdict.
It goes without saying work as external QM Lead / Technical Assessor/Auditor is strictly confidential and impartiality must be assured. Work areas are EMC / RADIO, Wireless / Electrical Safety / EMF-Health /automotive/ medical / military Testing / Calibration Labs and Product Certification Bodies.
